The terms that apply when you use Mi Chico Dance AI to make Mi Chico dance videos

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mi Chico Dance AI at michicodance.com (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Mi Chico Dance AI turns a photo you upload into a short video in which the person or pet from the photo takes the lead dancer's place in a recreation of the viral Mi Chico dance clip. Videos are generated by AI and can differ from the photo in small details. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Accounts

You need an account to generate videos. Give accurate information, keep your login safe and tell us about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for everything done with your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if it is higher, to use the service.

Photos You Upload

You may only upload photos of yourself, of people who have agreed to appear in a generated video, or of your own pets. Do not upload photos of minors without the consent of a parent or guardian, and do not use the service to create content that impersonates, harasses, defames or sexualizes anyone, or that shows a public figure doing something they did not do. We may remove videos and suspend accounts that break this rule.

You keep all rights to your photos. You give us a limited license to store and process them, and to send them to our AI model providers, only to create your videos and run the service.

Credits, Payments and Refunds

Videos are paid for with credits, bought as one-time packs or through a monthly or yearly subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Each video uses the number of credits shown next to the Generate button. There is no free tier.

Packs: pack credits do not expire.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Each month, including every month of a yearly plan, your plan's credits are added to your balance. Unused subscription credits expire at the end of that month and do not roll over. You can cancel or change plans at any time from your billing settings; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. If a video fails to generate, its credits are returned to your balance automatically. Because every render has a real cost, payments are not refundable once credits from them have been used. If a payment is refunded, the unused credits it granted are removed.

Music and Generated Videos

Generated videos recreate a viral Mi Chico dance clip and use the song's audio. Mi Chico Dance AI is an independent fan-made tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jason Derulo, DJ Goja, Melody, the performers in the original clip or their labels. You may share your videos for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for how you share them; social platforms apply their own rules to clips that use commercial music, and using the videos in advertising requires licensing the music yourself.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the service in a way that breaks any law or someone else's rights
  • Try to get around credit charges, rate limits or other technical limits
  • Try to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' content
  • Use the service to distribute malware, spam or other harmful content

Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. You can delete your account at any time from your settings; this also deletes your photos and videos.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
